Sunday February 28th:   Red Earth Ghawazee will be performing on the Community Stage at 3.45pm.  Knox Community Centre, Burwood Hwy, Ferntree Gully (behind Ferntree Gully library).

THE EVOKING - GOTHLA USA 2010

March 4th-7th:  Our very own Gothic Goddess Ma'isah will be the International Guest Star at this event held in California.  Ma'isah will be presenting her Elysium Sword Dance workshop as well as performing in the USA.  For more information please visit www.gothla.com.

FEMININE, FUN & MESMERISING, Goddess Bellydance offers quality belly dance classes in Melbourne.  Regardless of your experience we WILL teach you to dance and it doesn't matter what age you are, body type or background.  Join one of our classes and experience NOW why so many women are enjoying the benefits of this ancient dance.

At Goddess Bellydance our style is contemporary yet honours strong traditional influences from Egyptian, Classical Egyptian, Turkish cabaret, and Tribal styles.  Our teachers bring influences from contemporary dance, jazz, burlesque, goth, funk, swing and whatever takes their creative fancy at the time.  

Our aim is to provide a fun and supportive atmosphere where you will gradually increase your fitness and flexibility, learn to walk with improved posture and most important of all you WILL learn to dance! 

We offer beginners through to advanced classes, some classes of mixed levels, as well as fusion and tribal classes.  Our teaching pace is specifically designed to be gentle, enabling us to provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to have fun exploring the technique of the dance while also allowing you the opportunity to relax your mind, body and spirit.
