Goddess Bellydance expands its web for Term 3 with new classes commencing in Fitzroy on Tuesdays.  Ma'isah will be offering 'Beginners' classes as well as her fusion specialty 'Elysium'.  Both classes are expected to fill quickly.  For all class bookings please download our enrolment form:

In Term 4 we will be welcoming Amanda to our team of gorgeous dancers.  Amanda comes to us from tribal troupe 'Red Earth Ghawazee' and will be teaching Tribal Belly Dance at Pandora's Star in Croydon.  Feel free to contact us if you would like to book in early.  We will be posting more information about Amanda and these classes shortly.

CARNI NIGHTS

Sunday July 26th:  Another fundraiser for the wonderful Addis Ababa hospital in Ethiopia.  Dominika, Ma'isah and the Red Earth Ghawazee girls will be performing.  The Noise Bar, 291 Albert Street, Brunswick.

  EVERNIGHTS GOTHLA

Saturday August 8th:  Ma'isah will be dancing at Sydney's Evernights Gothla, presented by Desert Moon Dancers.  If you are in NSW come out and support this celebration of dark belly dance. For more information go to Performance: raqsgothique.com/performance.html.

LAVENDER HARVEST FESTIVAL

Sunday November 29th:  Goddess Bellydance, Red Earth Ghawazee and Bellyslap are performing at 11am as part of the Warratina Lavender Farm Harvest Festival, raising money for the CFA. Quayle Road, Wandin Yallock. 

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Friday December 4th:  Goddess Bellydance, Red Earth Ghawazee, Zade from Zaar, student performances as well as live music by Bellyslap.  Tickets will be available in November.  Kilsyth Memorial Hall, 514 Mt Dandenong Road, Kilsyth.

At Goddess Bellydance our style is contemporary yet honours strong traditional influences from Egyptian, Classical Egyptian, Turkish cabaret, and Tribal styles.  Our teachers bring influences from contemporary dance, jazz, burlesque, goth, funk, swing and whatever takes their creative fancy at the time.  

Our aim is to provide a fun and supportive atmosphere where you will gradually increase your fitness and flexibility, learn to walk with improved posture and most important of all you WILL learn to dance! 

We offer beginners through to advanced classes, some classes of mixed levels, children's classes as well as fusion and tribal classes.  Our teaching pace is specifically designed to be gentle, enabling us to provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to have fun exploring the technique of the dance while also allowing you the opportunity to relax your mind, body and spirit.

At Goddess Bellydance our core philosophy is the dance as an expression of the inner Goddess within us all.  We embrace the myriad of qualities that make us all unique expressions of the Goddess, celebrating all aspects of our feminine nature. 

Our Teachers will gently encourage you to explore your own creativity and feminine self-expression through the dance when you are ready.  We provide performance opportunities and support for dancers with an interest or passion for performance, and a fun and relaxed atmosphere for those dancing simply for fun.
