LEVELS DESCRIPTION-

If you're not sure which level you fit into please ask, we have a class for everyone!

Gentle Belly Dance:

Do you feel uncoordinated, hesitant to start a dance class because you think you have two left feet and don't think you can dance? Are you pregnant? Do you think you are too old or the wrong body shape?.... Then this very gentle and slow paced class is for you.  Gentle Belly Dance with Caroline is about gently moving your body, having fun, letting go and learning to dance.   You can book into this class at any time during the term.

Beginners:

For students with no previous belly dance experience.  Classes focus on posture and basic movements.  You can book into this class at any time during the term.

Intermediate:

Introduces more complex steps, levels to movements, transitions, props, different dance styles and choreography.  It is best to enrol into this class within the first three weeks of term.

Open Level:

These classes cater for both beginners and intermediate students.  The term starts with a reintroduction to basic posture and movements and progresses to learning a particular dance style, or use of props, or both.  Beginners enjoy these classes as the women find they learn faster and are exposed to more variety.  The intermediate students also enjoy these classes as they find them personally creative and are challenged by exposure to a different technique, dance style and choreography.  It is best to enrol into this class within the first three weeks of term.

Shimmy Princess:  

Funky & innovative dance classes for children.  Drawing inspiration from belly dance, hip hop, jazz, classical ballet & contemporary dance these classes also focus on individuality & creativity.  Lots of fun, dance, and exercise  using popular chart music kids can relate to as well as traditional and pop Arabic music. You can book into this class at any time during the term.
